Garden Sass
I bought this book as a gift for my brother. This book is an excellent resource for knowing how most Arkansans lived years ago (pre-telephone, -car, & -electricity). My mother (born in Arkansas in 1932) remembers a lot of the things in the book, so she's found it interesting, too. Some of the things pre-date her, though. This is a great resource, because most of the people who lived like that are now gone.
The only downside of this book would be the immense amount of information. You definitely have to read it a few pages at a time in order to be able to absorb the information.

Garden Sass
This book is an excellent reference of Ozark Mountain knowledge. My mother grew up in rural Arkansas in the 1930's & 40's and verified many of the things in the book. Lots of information!

1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Received fast and well-packaged! Son is using it for college and so far all works great. As expected a tiny bit of wear (used item), which is why I gave it a 4.
