Horrible Picture Quality!
4 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. I have to give this 20th Anniversary Buffy set 3 stars...which as a hardcore and avid Buffy fan feels a little like a betrayal to the show for me! lol But the picture quality on the discs so far (I've watched into season 2 of 7 so far) are SO bad. Nothing has been digitally remastered. They are fuzzy, there is grit and snow in most of it. I mean, I was going for nostalgia when I bought the set, I just didn't think the picture quality was the same as 20 years ago when I was watching with rabbit ears on TV. But it is really that bad. Blu ray and HD has me spoiled these days, I suppose. And the audio is just your basic surround sound, nothing fancy. I do like the re-vamped cover art, menu screens, and the box set packaging is very cool and convenient. They just really need to make a blu ray quality, digitally remastered, upgrade for picture quality. You can see and hear the story line in a very basic capacity, but that's about all I can say for the quality of the DVDs. I almost wonder if the DVDs themselves aren't FROM 20 years ago!
