Dual Port SATA Serial ATA Cable to eSATA Bracket Adapter Cable

Cool addition to my computer

I have an external hard drive that can connect with either e-sata or USB 2.0. After living with slow USB speeds for months, I came across this gem. It installed in seconds and I was able to use the e-sata connection for full speed file transfers. My only gripe is that, of the two cables that connect to the motherboard, one has a straight plug and one has a right angle plug. I could not use the right angle plug in my computer because of the layout of the motherboard. Since I only needed one working e-sata port this wasn't a big deal. When I upgraded to a new computer, I swapped this adapter over to the new machine and was able to connect both cables. I wish they were both straight ended, as I think they would probably fit most computers that way. A minor complaint, I assure you. This adapter has worked out perfectly otherwise.

Bluetooth dongle. Works, but...

The long and the short of it is this. It works like it should, the software installed without any problems, and it does what it claims to. The caveat to this is: all these dongles have the SAME MAC ADDRESS. If you don't use more than one or keep them out of range of each other, they're fine. If you buy two, expecting to put one in your desktop pc and one in your laptop in the next room, don't. Or at least don't leave both plugged in at the same time. Some dongles can have their MAC address changed, but these don't seem to be supported by any of the free software out there that does that. Otherwise it works well, nice to play my music that's on my phone through the computer speakers, or use a different Bluetooth speaker with the computer. Some phones can even transfer data that way, I have an iPhone, so I'm not so fortunate.

Nothing Like The Original

This is a great buttset. It doesn't have all the latest features, but it will always be there and never let you down.
