Waste of money

I bought this for my grandson. We he opened the present he was so excited. Several days later I asked if he like it and he said “it is not fun at all.” So I decided to try it and noticed it never gets past the introduction story. I have tried everything and it seems as if it is advancing to where you actually play the game but it just loops around and plays the introduction again. I am assuming the disc is bad. Waste of money!
