Do your research!

This is a revision that Nissan does not care to publish their revisions to this connector. I had to figure it out by trial and error and thanks to a voltmeter I accomplished the wires needed to add foot well lighting and flood lighting to exterior of car. Even oem footwell lighting was terrible. I returned that and installed a better rgb lighting. Thanks for making this difficult Nissan, I am ready to move on from Nissan!

You need this!

I had ordered a similar unit and ruined it when removing it off panel. I like how this model has the wiring to the side and not on center as pictured. The controller board also has a smaller foot print and slimmer profile. This new panel also has a sticky foamy edging that will aid keeping dust out. Protective film on both sides. One of the protective sides was peeling off. The panel, cable and control board were very well protected for its journey. Quality is definitely visible. Windows 10 recognized the control panel and was ready for use briefly soon after. Now that it's ready, I got to figure out how to install on laptop permanently without damaging panel.

I have not installed yet. Quality of part looks like the original. I hope the electronics are more durable in this replacement piece.
