Well, this machine's compressor is shot. In the "cooling only mode," the temp is 68 F, meaning room temp after running for 20 minutes. The temperature should be in the -15 F territory. I went and put it into ice cream churning mode and the results were the same, after 30 minutes, still at room temperature.
Also, although the packaging showed no signs of rough and tumble shipping, the machine has several dings and dents. As an open box that should not be the case.

It worth a look
Works well. Very sensitive and that's what you want. Dock 1 star since seller asked for a 5 star review. It's a digital probe at a fair price. Nothing more, nothing less.
