THE standard of laptops
I have two of these and a T43P as well as an R60E. Classic flat black, all business, great keyboard. I've owned or used other laptops from Dell, HP and Compaq. I've repaired all the above, and I prefer Thinkpads.
Easy to work on, great documentation, large support group, what more can you ask for? This series of thinkpad (T4x)is well built, and has great features. With Ebay there are plenty of upgrades available. Don't like the standard resolution on the display? There are higher resolution screens available. Want the fingerprint scanner? You can get it. Prefer the restore disks? There is a website that sells them (cheap). You will have to google it, we can't put a link here.
There is a flaw, nobody agrees what causes it. The infamous video issue. Does not happen to the vast majority. And does not dissuade most thinkpad owners of getting MORE.
