Great set of sockets

Had to buy a single socket to replace the one from my brother’s original set. If it was my set I would not have bothered as it was a small chip out of the finish, but you never return borrowed tools in worst shape than when you borrowed them - but we all know that, right?

Pops bought a 1967 Chevelle in 1967 and all I got was this AMAZING model kit of it...

Pops had a '67 Chevelle (in 1967), so when I saw this model available I had to scoop it up as soon as possible. The kit is super detailed even down to the little things like hand window cranks, sun visors (they are molded in to the body of the vehicle and barely visible, but you can paint them and make them stand out!). Of course I went the route of the high-rise manifold, dual carbs, and flower pots sticking out through the hood, but there are also two different configurations you can choose from - but I am not sure why you would, because when you go all motor, you gotta go all motor. All. Motor. This kit also reminded me that I have no patience and need to work on that, but this does not reflect negatively on the model at all. Take your time, let the glue dry, paint all of the parts, even the ones that are chrome and she will come out looking like the beast that she was from the showroom floor in the good year of 1967.
