Radio not up to Dewalt standards
5 personnes sur 5 ont jugé cet avis utile. I am a Dewalt fan and presently own more than 30 Dewalt tools including drills, saws , and other miscellaneous tools. This is my third Dewalt radio/charger. I have upgraded each time to the latest version to charge batteries for various tools. I live out in the country a fair distance from radio stations and find that a $50 Sony radio picks up better than my latest Dewalt radio/charger. Only three out of the five memory presets work and the auxiliary port and USB port are hard to reach the way they are located inside the storage compartment. The radio sounds descent enough when playing and the warranty would cover the cost of repairing the presets but I didn’t buy it to have to send it in for repair. This is the second of the three radios I’ve owned that didn’t work properly brand new right out of the box. Come on Dewalt. You’re a better company than that. You guys build great tools most of the time.
