lighter than canon 28-300mm IS USM L, tack sharp
2 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. good lens, but canon 28-300mm IS USM l for longer reach. I have both of lens, wether is VR or IS, picture quality is good but not excellent compare to Tokina 12-24mm F4 or other professional lens without IS/VR. VR is effective, deadly fast AF, weather seal? not sure, but 24-105mm f4l IS USM is. alot folks discuss about this lens over some BBS, the picture quality of this lens is equal to nikon 18-70 DX not 200mm f2 VR. good travel lens, lighter than 28-300 IS, plastical feel.

Can’t be bought elsewhere, I think it’s still a bit expensive.
The maintenance worker carelessly installed the wheel caps at an angle and was lost due to the bumps on the road. So I bought a replacement here and said it was new, but it already has dents.

size, value for your money, picture quality
in the long run I highly recommend DSLR to everyone here, because DSLR tend take low noisy picture, crispy sharp picture, and fast AF. I mean A640 this is not bad camera, the size will fit in your pocket, or take snap shot of people barely notice you are taking pic of them, I call it as SPY camera. why I decided to buy it? well, but it is size, I hold canon DSLR with attached 300mm f2.8 IS USM, and other hand hold this one that allow me take wide pic, you know I am tired changing lens one of another.
