It has yet to disappoint
The adjustable light is most helpful in seeing the detail in tight spaces. Battery life is over a couple of hours of work. I have not maxed it out yet. The photo snapshot option is good to review in more detail tight spots or problem areas particularly when you are physically in a tight spot and holding the device and looking at your smartphone in a contorted fashion. Quieter than a church mouse
The fan is very, very quiet with low current draw. I used it to replace the power supply fan in a Lorex NVR that took the device from loud to near silent.
