Does the job!
This product worked as described. It removed what was remaining of the old Defy synthetic semi-transparent stain. It required only light sanding on only some stubborn places that was under roof and still in good shape.
The neutralizer brightened the cedar decking and when the Defy semi-transparent stain was applied, the cedar wood looked almost as good as when it was put down 13 years ago.
I have used TSP and bleach to clean the deck in between the re-staining proceedure. It really cleans as well as any expensive cleaners. Ratios can be found by googling it.
