works on USA bike tires fine.
It fit my hose easily and works. Being plastic it may not last any longer than the previous one though. But it was cheap.

powers speakers in my office, tolerates low impedance of multiple speakers well
I had one of these for years, and had it hooked to 7 speakers, 8 ohm each, in parallel, which isn't proper. It was in an office. Then it finally died, and I tried a couple of other receivers and the sound was distorted. Like I said, you're not supposed to run that many speakers in parallel. But this model works, so I bought a couple old ones off Ebay and I should be set for a long time, and the sound is fine. Apparently this model is forgiving of the low resistance, and we aren't playing it loud of course, just background.

works fine
This is at least as bright as the incandescent version, and not nearly as hot should you happen to touch it with the handpiece removed. I'm happy with it.
