Ponies are decals.
The ponies are decals, which you stick on the plastic insert. For the price, that should be obvious, but just not what I expected.

Excellent, but needs instructions
OEM product that is exactly the same as the one I took off. The only negative is that it doesn't come with instructions, and it's not at all obvious how to get the old one off. I found a YouTube video. But that video didn't show putting the new one on. I thought it would just slip over the metal and the spring would yield to a little presure. Nope. I had to lube it to get it about 70% on, then use a hammer to hit an object that I held perpendicular to the clamping part of the mirror.

Good value.
When I took the stator cover off, the old gasket adhered strongly to the cover, and appeared to be almost new. So I just reused it. That was safer than scraping it off and using the new one. But I'm giving a good review for this one because it was inexpensive.
