Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray player
This is 2010 Sony model; it is Sony's entry level player; lowest price of its 3 models. Very easy to hook up using HDMI cable; my Samsung hdtv does not require its remote to play a dvd; when you turn the player on, the tv is ready for the movie without selecting the source. Great picture on both blu-ray and dvd moview.
Also I wanted the Netflix ability to watch movies; I hooked up cat5 cable from my wireless modem and only 2 steps to set up to watch Netflix movies. The instructions were not perfect on this.
The player has "quick start" feature for blu-ray disc, but I turne dit off since the player was "warm" all the time; the manual staees this.
Overall a very good player with basic features. The remote is very good also.
