I love about era art work. This book contains more than that but it's the first book I found that contained it at all!

Pathetic story line

I got this book thinking it would be an entertaining way to learn about homesteading as it is in a novel format as opposed to a how-to book. BIG disapointment. The "wannabe" homesteaders are annoyinying and pathetic-the book is nearly entirely dialog, as far as I've been able to force myself into it, and the to characters just make me want to not even bother to read. It is not entertaining, it takesw a good long while to get to any homesteading tips becase the two wannabees (JJ and Cindy Lou) are so dense and annoying with their attitudes and stupid little conversations and remarks. I would not buy this book again, nor would I recommend it to someone else. Maybe I should have given the book a "poor" rating.

Standard Deviant products reinforce academic material

As a homeschool mom, I am always looking for fun and creative ways to reinforce the material my kids are already learning. This is one of the reasons I enjoy products from Standard Deviants. They are silly, zany, loopy, amusing and downright fun! Kids laugh while watching them and in this entertaining way, subject matter already learned is reinforced.
