Made it easy

Following online instructions, it was moderately simple. Good value. I also got the silicone se, which are said to last longer, but d coded on this one after reading the comments. Now onto another of my Snorkels.

5 personnes sur 6 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought this for my tea-drinking wife. She loves it. Brewing involves a bit more work than doing it manually, but the end product is great. And the "keep warm" function is great at keeping that second or third cup warm. One improvement would be to allow that function (keep warm) to say on when you lift the carafe off the base. Now it turns off and you have to remember to put it back on.
I use it to brew ice tea and it can do a whole pot and make it strong, which is important when you are putting ice in it. We like that you can program it for different kinds of tea and that you can also customize the brewing to fit your preferences (like my strong tea ready for ice).
As to brewing time, it's basically the same. The water has to be heated to the appropriate temperature and the tea brewed for the desired time. It heats as fast or faster than doing it on the stove or in a electric kettle.
