The title is as explicit and to-the point as possible.

Alan Palmer gives incredible detail and scope to Napoleon's disastrous 1812 invasion of Russia which, as Palmer writes at the beginning of this work, before the invasion, that dusk was approaching Napoleon's reign. This is one of the best historical accounts that I've ever read and I recommend it, highly!
