Super musical Compressor Limiter with useful gate
had several ACP 22 units in my last commercial studio, and always ran drums through them and loved the sound. I just started to go back to hardware front end for my Protools HD 2021 system and wanted something that was different than the 1176 and LA2 compressor limiters I was using I tried a High end DBX unit which was fine but it had a very signature sound that was not super pleasing to my taste. The ACP 22 is a super musical Compressor/Limiter that does not change the tone of your source. Great underrated device. finally the filtered gates allow me to dial out cymbals from the Tom and Snare Microphones.
