Go digital cameas
This is a Hikvision unit with all the features needed to create a home digital record system without the cost. I bought a WD 2 TB digital camera drive mounted it and connected my cameras to a low cost POE switch. in seconds I was recording cameras from a $20 bullet to a 3 MP outdoor dome. You will have to know a bit about digital cameras, IP nets and drives to roll your own camera network but if you figure it out its worth it.

White Light low power
We were looking for a new lamp to replace several sound board incandescent bulbs. After some research into the correct replacement we went these. They have a 360 deg lamp with good dispersion and clean white light with no color bias at all. Our use was a little odd but they do the job.
