Big step up in function.
Excellent display. Real time bright measure. Wish the horizontal angle derived measurement functions were available - It only has vertical. I'll have to have a triangle app for figuring wall length if there is obstruction at the wall. The only other device which has everything costs twice as much. Easy to use, it replaces a disto model which does not have the "camera". Good tool. Remember that there's a chargeable model for a little more money.

Best durable, water resistant camera for any where near the price.
I have an earlier model. This is slightly larger but it's probably worth it for the added performance in low light. These cameras are very durable - I have dropped my earlier model many times onto rock and pavement - once from a roof. Still operates well. All of these small cameras could focus faster to avoid missing shots but there are others for double the price which are slower than this. Connection with the app works well for remote operation.
