Rediscover the amazing 60s!
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. The Association is one of the forgotten bands of the 60s that really needs to be rediscovered. They may have been overshadowed by the success of the Beach Boys, but their songwriting and rich vocal harmonies are every bit as good. EVERY song on this recording is excellent; no need to skip to the next song. One listen and you'll agree with me!

Sound decent but don’t believe specs
First off, don’t believe the specs of these speakers; 37 Hz is the claim for the low frequency limit, but I’m inclined to believe it’s more like 50 Hz at the very lowest, which is still pretty low for a 4” woofer. The claimed power handling is 300 watts per channel, but if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in your choice of 3 colors! I’m using a NAD receiver rated at 40 watts per channel and I’ve got to be careful not to turn it up too loud because these speakers will distort at louder levels. I would guess that 100 WPC would be the maximum power handling, but at reasonable volume levels. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mid-bass, midrange and treble. For the money, I don’t think you’ll find better in such a small package. Perfect for kicking back on my deck and listening to my favorite tunes.

High end CD performance
I bought this DVD player primarily for the CD performance. I read many online reviews that spoke of the excellence of the quality of the CD sound. It didn’t disappoint! Best “CD player” I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned many over the years) and the price with remote was under 50.00 in like-new condition! Buy one if you can find one!
