It does work ,maybe
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. not the fanciest tool in the box but it does work. I had a can of freon still connected to a valve. So I decided to give it a try, the can have been sitting around for a while so nothing was detected. I opened valve and it started tone change. Shut valve off and the residue still alerted tester. So yes I recommend it . On & off knob was loose . I had to snugg it up.
UPDATE NOT TOO SURE ANYMORE. So I just put tester through the test. And I'm not positive if it works as needed, if touch a part with tip it will beep louder, if you touch your arm with it beeps louder, if you touch a wall ,guess what,beeps louder
