  It is exactly what I wanted and is the same vintage phone that I like to use on our land line. The cord that hooks the phone to the console isn't in the package. I don't know if I missed it in the description but I can still use the old one off the phone I used to use so not all is lost! I haven't hooked it up to the landline yet so cannot say whether it will actually work but I took a chance of this with the low price since the seller didn't know if it worked or not either!
