Excellent fit, but ultimately disappointing.
The kit parts are well designed and engineered, have excellent fit and good detail. However the decals are easily the worst I've ever used. They have virtually no adhesion whatsoever, are super thick like stickers, and if you try to cut the clear film away, the clear film will crack and separate. They do not respond to setting solutions, not even solvaset will work. Just horrible. I tried to contact Academy but to no avail. Great kit, but get aftermarket decals if you can find some.

Great kit!
Crisp molding, easy fit with positive attachments, this is a great kit. It's chopped and the only engine is the caddy unit, but this kit fits so well you won't care.

Great color
I'm disappointed that Testors is discontinuing this color, I find it invaluable for many different applications. I've used it as Sunoco blue on racecars, as medium blue on factory stocks, and as Navy Blue on WWII warbirds. You can thin it with Homebrew thinners, but combine it with Mr Color Leveling Thinner for UNBELIEVABLE results. Almost too perfect.
