I wish that I would have purchased this unit years ago. I'm not a fan of taking drugs to alleviate the constant sneezing & runny nose.

The pollen count in the Atlanta area is often in the thousands. We hit OVER 6,000 recently. The pine pollen which last several weeks is terrible. It leaves a yellow film over everything. Buying this product was a desperation effort to alleviate the problem inside the home. It's not perfect but it works. Perhaps, I need to adjust the settings (fan speed) to filter the air faster or more efficiently. After 2 weeks, I bought a 2nd unit for upstairs. Overall, I'm satisfied with the units.
