A must-see neglected sad awful part of our American story.
Just fantastic; if you were young in the 70s and missed half of what was going on, this will be fascinating, as is the large format book that accompanies it as a separate purchase. Does Burns forgive the bad decisionmakers too easily; yes, but seeing our soldiers in jungle hell reminds us of how much we owe them and how badly they were treated, abused, and then neglected,by our government. And then you think about the South Vietnamese and what did they ever do to deserve our war and it is all depressing but everyone should see it.
