As I have a collection of movies, I purchased the DVD out of nostalgia as this was one of Jack Nicholson’s earliest performances. The acting is good ( Nicholson got nominated ) but by today’s expectations the pace is slow and of low intensity.

Constant on-site shots throughout the series anchors the viewer palpably to the story and keeps it engaging.
