best professional tripod
The system is a little heavy and does not include the leveling system a lot of tripods have now. However the weight assists in balancing a telephoto system. Another great thing is that the legs are easy to remove which means if one of them breaks it is easy as using the included hex key to switch out the leg.

Perfect for old forensic hubs
I use a tableau forensic hub which needs a 1394-b connector to connect to the host machine. Originally I intended to use a server for this setup but decided I wanted faster speed. I also have a security NAS which uses the older 1394a connection external which is great for backing up data through the card instead of using processing power of the computer. For my purposes this card is excellent and I will continue to use it.
Quality:
The soldering points are absolutely perfect even better than the soldering on the tableau forensic hub. Everything on this card was soldered with precision without errors. I may in the future purchase another one since one of this quality usually fetches higher prices.
Cons:
The only thing that could have made this card better would have been an internal 1394b connection so you don't have to route the cable outside the box.
