This product is *almost* the same as the...

This product is *almost* the same as the OEM brake caliper. It came with the caliper piston pre-installed, and a new coat of black paint. During the manufacturing process, the threads for the brake hard line, as well as the mounting bolt holes were not taped off when painting. There was a thick layer of paint on both locations. The threads having paint in them haven t proven to be an issue, however the bolt holes had to be re-drilled out in order for the bolts to fit. Overall, not a good product for installation. I haven t been able to actually use the brakes as I m still restoring the bike. Unfortunately, it seems that the market for OEM/aftermarket parts for vintage Honda bikes is very small. As such, this is probably one of the only options. I hope the manufacturer can actually take this feedback and make their product better. While they are at it, make it cheaper! Thank you!
