It Works
Mostly what you're paying for is the mic adapter for the GoPro. The mic itself does work well (as long as) it's pointed directly at the point of sound. I'm no expert or pro at this, but I use this for a YouTube channel that I cover install and reviews for Jeep parts. It's either mounted on a stationary tripod or a handheld with the camera. I have found that while aiming the camera and mic at a part while narrating, the peripheral audio is not great. Will probably end up with a lapel type mic. Biggest issue was waiting over 50 days for delivery. If your target audio will be stationary, this mic will suffice.

Great option for gopro
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought 2 of these along with rode external mics to use with my gopros for my youtube channel. Makes it a lot easier. The slide to open the back is a bit difficult to operate quickly, but not too bad. My biggest complaint is that the slide interferes with UP function on the touchscreen. Maybe I have fat fingers, but it makes it difficult to view clips, then go back to home screen. Other than that, very happy with this. Keeps the mic adapter out of the way, and the mic mount on top is high enough that the windscreen is not seen. Would recommend if you're using GP with external mic.
