OTC Tools Inner CV Joint Puller 7509 New

Could not do job with out it!

My 2001 Volvo v70 at 290,000 miles had a severely rusted CV joint and spring clip in the drivers side transmission spline joint. This tool required first hammering in the cutout plate between the transmission and CV joint cup which took the most time as I wanted to be careful that the steel plate was not damaging the aluminum transmission case. Once done the 5lb. slide hammer connected to the plate made it very easy to pull out the CV joint half axle assembly without damaging the CV half joint or transmission. In the case of spline joint spring clip CV half joint removals, this tool is indispensable for those that are severely rusted and don't come out easily,
