Continued...
... but it shipped with something "loose" in the devise, I found that the "eyepiece" lens was loose in it... a defect... of course, this is why "Adorama" was letting it go for half the price... I decided that 1/2 the price of this item was worth having to fix it myself, so I went to work on it... and "success" I successfully placed what was loose in it (the eyepiece lens) back in the eyepiece and "successfully" screwed in the retainer ring (which was also rattling around in the device)... and wa' la'... I have a good and working director's telescoping Director's Viewfinder... thank you Adorama... I except this item.
