just what I needed, once I respected how to install it correctly...
It arrived timely, and installed easily. it is missing the clear plastic molds for the front camera and the proximity sensor. Make sure to be very familiar with the teardown and reinstallation videos of the multi-sensor cable or else you will easily break it and cause horrible boot problems. With care, it will not fail you! a great purchase at a great price, but with a great price comes great responsibility...

expensive but good quality
I thought this was USB3.1, especially to take advantage of the high-throughput of the UHSII interface. I was wrong. Adapters capable of accepting both full-size and micro-SDxx card simultaneously can be had for a fraction of the price. All that aside, I can take advantage of the "breakaway" feature on laptops where space near the USB socket is at a premium. It does read and write fast (for USB3 standards), and seems to have a stable data stream. Also, the plastic shell does seem sturdy enough (vs. cracking near the card inserts). so, price bad - product good.

72mm and 62 mm threads worked accurately
Both threaded ends worked and without hearing grit as things screwed into them. The usual cautionary advice about screwing in things too tight of course applies. For average use, they should last a long time.
