A Tale of Wallace and Bruce, By G.A Henty, Soft Cover.
Set in 1296 to 1314,
this is the story of Sir William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, and how they freed Scotland at the Battle of Bannockburn.
Our young Hero is Archie Forbes who becomes the ardent follower of Wallace and forms a troop of scouts for the Scottish army. After Falkirk and Wallace's death, he aligns with Bruce. Adventures abound in the moors of Scotland as Archie's cold steel is bloodied in the cause for Scottish independence. He is able to reclaim his estates wrongfully taken by neighbors and he joins in the final victory at Bannockburn. A truly wonderful tale, full of adventure as only G.A. Henty can pen. I highly advise this for any reader young or old, but suggest you get the hard cover version instead as it will last longer, which is why I give this 4 rather then 5.

Doctor Who, Part of the Tom Baker Collection.
1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I am personally a Whovian. sure there are Star Wars fans, and Star Trek fans, but I have always found Doctor Who to be the greatest of them all, especially with over 15 years of episodes to watch. here is a time Lord with the power to do anything he wants, and he goes around the galaxy saving the universe, and his pet people us earthlings as well. of course the quality of action is not what you expect in today's movies, but overall these are some great classics and I suggest you add them to your archive today, and help the tradition continue.

Splinter Cell, Stealth Action Redefined
2 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. Splinter Cell, as the title says, is Stealth Action Redefined. the first time I ever played it was with my PC, and I beat the whole game in a week. then around a year later I got my Xbox and the game a week later. the only drawback with this game is it's single player, although they have added it for the new titles. the graphics are awesome, and the in between level movies are pretty good. get one today, all it costs is $5!
