Awesome compact camera, close to an SLR in functionality and quality; wish it had longer zoom

Fits in your pocket (a tad bulky, but it does fit), and had a larger sensor than most other compacts, so the image quality is awesome, and has much of the functionality of an SLR. The auto setting is really great for most situations, but the manual setting lets you change everything on the camera: shutter speed, f-stop, ISO, white balance, etc. The continuous shooting mode is great for shooting action. It also shoots RAW. It has the pop-up viewfinder thing which everyone raves about, though I really don't use it. I love the LCD screen on the back, it tilts up or down, so you can hold the camera high above your head or way low down, tilt the LCD toward you, and still see what you're shooting.
The only drawback is that it only has 3.3x zoom, which really isn't very much. I don't know the science behind cameras, so I don't know if they just can't fit a longer zoom lens on this camera and still have it be pocket-sized – since it seems any old standard point-and-shoot compact camera can have 10x or 20x zoom. Whatever the reasoning, this camera only goes to 3.3x, which is a shortcoming in some of my photo situations. If it went even to a 10x zoom length, it would be the absolute perfect compact camera. But still, it's probably the best compact on the market now.
