not worth the extra money
1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Works no better than some of the cheapo adapters I've tried at 1/3 the price. If it isn't hanging in its "happy place" next to the window, it works no better than the built-in adapter in my laptop. I bought it hoping I could actually sit at a table 6 feet from the window, rather than sitting at the window to keep the signal from dropping. I can do that with the laptop alone. On the plus side, it drops the connection slightly less than the laptop and shows 3-4 bars vs. 3 with laptop alone, so I'll hang onto it and maybe try hanging it high outside with a longer USB cord. But if that doesn't work, I will still have to sit at the window to stay connected. :( Thinking I should have just splurged on an Engenius WAP and saved myself this wasted $20.
