Well Made, Powerful String Trimmer

I've always used an electric string trimmer and this is my first battery operated unit. The trimmer is much heavier than expected but yet is not unexpected - which is not necessarily a bad thing. This thing is quite powerful. With it on the low setting, I got good results. Putting it on high really tore through weeds. The trigger is variable speed which is nice and not very difficult to get a feel for. While today was the first time using it, I found it to be a bit awkward to handle at times - but I attribute this to my inexperience in how to best handle it. I'm sure once I figure out the technique the experience should improve. Overall I'm pretty satisfied and would recommend.

Better than OEM

Fram has long been my preferred brand as it scored at the tops of a national consumer magazine review of oil filters. This filter replaced an OEM Mopar and based on a side-by-side comparison, I found the Fram to have more exposed filter surface. It's very small but every bit must help.
