An incredibly easy to set up ADSL2+ Modem w/ NAT-enabled Firewall

This Modem didn’t claim to work w/ Windows 10. The Netgear Install disk (if you have it) works only through Win 7. No Big Deal. The Manual Setup for Win 10, Apple and Linux is pretty self-explanatory. Read the owners manual (available online) prior to using this Modem. Memorization is not required, but as you are plugging in the answers, it will help if you know what the heck the setup is asking for. All Netgear needed from me was my DSL user ID & password. Because I access the Internet dynamically (DHCP) over the Ethernet (PPPoE), the Modem figured out my IP address and filled in the proper numbers. Sweet! If your IP address is static, you’ll have to enter the required info. Your ISP probably gave you a list. Once you’re online with this new Modem, change the Modem’s login PW, and turn off Universal Plug ’n Play (UpnP).

OK lamp

I have a full sized Architect Swing Arm lamp - it, unlike the Urbanest, actually swings and stretches easily. The Urbanest does not. It should be titled an _Architect Swing Arm STYLE lamp_. It will stretch some, but once you have the lamp head where you want it, let it be. Stretching the base section feels as if the post will break. Raising/lowering the upper arm is easier. I've done it a couple of times to watch a movie on the PC monitor. The lamp puts out brilliant white light. It's heat is noticeable, but negligible. You can rest your finger on the lamp cover. If this was a halogen lamp, no way could you do that. The light is focused. The Urbanest unit uses a reflector that gives it a spotlight effect. With the head properly set, the keyboard is lit up w/o you being blinded. I think this is an awesome feature.

lightweight cable

The cable performs well for its intended purpose. I bought a pair of laptop USB speakers for my desktop PC. I figured the speakers would have a short cable - wasn't surprised when they did. Pre-ordered the extension cord. Asking little, happy w/ the purchase. The product works.
