Still get splattered with mud.
Some water and mud gets past the mudguards onto your back and feet; I had to rivet on mudguard flaps to prevent this.

Easy to use but more thought needed in the design.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Once assembled and adjusted it's very easy and quick to mount the carrier on square roof bars. It also comes with an T- adaptor to fit grooved Thule roof bars. Placing a bike on the carrier is easy and takes about 20 seconds. My criticism is that any of the 3 roof bar clamps can drop off when the carrier is off the car. That's easily solved that by securing them with 3 thick rubber bands. The rear locking clamp falls off as well and I had to secure it to the base with a nut and bolt and 2"x1" metal plate.
