Mario Party 9 (Nintendo Wii, 2012)

Good for cooperative gameplay but bad for competitive gameplay
I bought this game quite a while ago and since then have only played it a handful of times. I have only tried Party mode for the game so I have not done an in-depth playthrough of the game but in my opinion it's the weakest game in the Mario Party Franchise that I've played. The gameplay isn't necessarily bad and it does offer a unique take on the way Mario Party is played. However Party mode has you work as a team and loses the competitive aspect of the game which has made the series so much fun for me and my friends. Overall not a bad game, worth a try if you're a die-hard Mario fan or want to play a cooperative game with younger kids. Not great for competitive gamers or if you're looking to play a game with your friends that is competitive, Mario Party 8 is a much better game for the latter.

Purchased it for a friend
I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. I haven't heard any complaints from him regarding the quality of this product. Played on it myself and seems to work fine.
