Does the job!
I have a large south facing pond-less waterfall/stream which was being affected by algae bloom and had tried several other well known water feature treatments but was getting quite frustrated with their ineffectiveness until i discovered tried Hydra Fountain Clear. I must use 50% more for weekly maintenance top-up than suggested to keep it in check ( probably because of sun all day exposure ) but its doing the trick and has not affected the local birds either who love bathing in the crystal clear water. Highly recommended and good value compared to everything else on the market. The bottle dispenser is good too to ensure the correct measures are used and to monitor its dispense and usage.
