Works great. Easy to use for anyone who has never seen it before.

Dandy oem replacement
Even after cleaning the original remote twice, I needed to use c-clamps and hammers to operate the channel-down and a few other functions when the remote was cold. Life has new meaning now that I can change channels whenever I want t with this replacement.

Tools are great. Batteries, . . . ahh, . . . not so much.
1 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. I have 15 of these batteries now after just buying two more. That brings my total of properly-working batteries to three. The older ones just don't hold a charge, but these newer ones with the fancy "fuel gauges" have an unbelievably-complicated computer board inside, and as with most unnecessarily-complicated electronics, like in cars, it can be expected to fail. One stops charging when the third LED stops flashing. A few don't turn on the chargers any longer. All the batteries with the fuel gauges developed problems related to the computer boards, not with the cells themselves. They hold a charge just fine, if you can get them to charge.
The next problem, the batteries with computer boards will suddenly stop working without warning when they get low on charge. Makes for lots of frustration when you climb up ladders into dark places, then have your flashlight go dead and your tools won't work. Instead of running up and down after fresh batteries, it's more efficient to just take the time to drag an extension cord and use corded tools.
The tools are great. I have three circular saws, three reciprocating saws, three flashlights, a driver, multiple drills, multiple chargers, and a jig saw. Out of five dual chargers, one doesn't work at all, and the other four are dead on the left side. That appears to be a real common problem, which suggests a design issue.
I have a lot of other Ridgid power tools. They all work great. It's just these batteries that leave a lot to be desired.
