Waterproof smartwatch fails first time placed in water.

Update: I tested this smartwatch in the pool as it is advertised as suitable for swimming. After less than 5 minutes the smartwatch stopped working and it has been dead ever since. Epic fail! I researched this smartwatch extensively before purchasing it. It fit my criteria of being swim waterproof, having removable bands, having decent memory and storage (1 GB/ 16 GB) and running full Android (5.1). Even the battery seemed reasonable at 550 mAh. After a couple of days of use it comes as advertised, with only two quips thus far: Battery life is poor, lasting maximum 24 hours with minimal use and the heart rate sensor is very inaccurate.

Awesome deal on Surface Duo if you invest some effort

I bought this Microsoft Surface Duo “eyes wide open”, knowing full well that it come locked to AT&T. As a Canadian who does not have a service with this carrier, I needed the phone unlocked to be able to use the wireless. A bit of research and perseverance allowed me to unlock the device. As for the bundle, the Surface Duo is great as is the 8000 mAh battery pack that comes as a bonus. I probably could not take advantage of the extended 1-year coverage, but it is .

Brings back old memories

I picked up this retro game console on special and for what I paid it was worth the trip down memory lane. The games are pretty poor quality and clearly show how much graphics have improved since the 1980s, but they give a true representation of what PCs were like in that era. I can't say any of the games impressed, especially with the difficult to use joystick, but the fact that included is the basic programming module and you can import other games, makes the C64 a must have! Attach a USB keyboard and you can relive the excitement you had when you were younger (MUCH) and/ or introduce the current generation to what computing was like.
