Very simple machine with a solid feel

Can't wait for a new morning to dawn so I can use the Delonghi again!
Makes a wonderful espresso, and the steam wand works beautifully in manual mode.
The automated settings are also terrific if you are short on time.
You learn about a craft from a well made tool, and I have learned more about pulling an ideal espresso because of the settings and their relationship (grind, temperature, dose). These need to be adjusted for different kinds of beans, but once you do, the rest of the bag is super simple and delicious. Tamping system takes the guess-work out. Lots of buttons and dials, but the instructions are clear and it feels intuitive to use in no time.
