Klipsch RSA 500 Subwoofer Amplifier

RSA-500 driving AW-800-SW

This amp will be driving two all weather 800 subwoofers (AW-800-SW) on my deck. I looked all over the net to get some reviews of this type of application without any success. Here is my impression thus far connected up indoors, since it's January currently. Playing a variety of soft rock connected to my indoor 15 year old Sony amp this thing has a ton of power to drive the woofers. Crossover is a little touchy, can be boomy indoors, and can take whatever you toss at it. I had to have the gain down to around 10 to 11 oclock to not shake the pictures off the walls at only half volume. I put the EQ setting at 2 as stated in the manual. Woofers were not mounted, just sitting on carpet floor. I'm really looking forward to connecting this up next spring on my deck. I think it will provide a lot more low end bass from my out door system (bose sa5 amp driving 4 definitive technology aw6500), whch sounds pretty damn good now.
