Looks are deceiving!

Yes, the lamp is "lightweight." The lamp is SO lightweight that just touching the shade will tip over the lamp. Speaking of the shade, the picture shows that the shade covers the black part that includes the switch. That is inaccurate. The shade is TOO small and does NOT cover appropriate. The shade is an 8" uno shade with no hardware to convert to a harp and use a spider shade. Impossible (so far) to find an suitable uno shade that fits appropriately. Further, the uno shade simply encircles the light bulb rather than screws on. Each time the shade is touched, the entire lamp wobbles. DO NOT PURCHASE! This lamp is a "decorative" nightmare!
