this is definitely a good agp card for a retro build, the trick to setup is have an original driver cd to install first, then update, and disable all the performance options on your mb - the card 'has' plenty of performance and trying to boost it with mb settings will cause conflicts in various areas usually ... yeah, the value part and hence the low stars is because of the unscrupulous activity on ebay jacking the prices up .. all the 'ebay shop' people buy up the good cards when theyre put up by regular people at a decent price and then jack the price up double and relist it about 5 minutes after they purchase it .. its pathetic .. nothing you can do though except buy out of country usually which they dont like to risk that i guess .. i did and managed to get a couple of 3850's for my retro builds under 80 each .. good luck with the shysters on ebay though ripping you off for 150-200 ...
