Dated model...
Unfortunately as of the date of this review, this particular model is dated. The first indicator of things to come was that the newer software refuses to interface with it and instead directs you to the older software. After locating the legacy software through the website and then installing it on my computer, I found that devices I was accustomed to controlling with a model a few years newer than this one was not supported with this particular remote (Roku etc). However, when it comes to programming the remote to control the basic devices of a home entertainment system such as a TV, DVD player, and cable/satellite box, this remote was able to still do so.
So for anyone looking to program this remote for use with basic components such as a TV, DVD player, and cable/satellite box, I could recommend this remote for you. But, for those looking to control newer devices such as a Roku, NeoTV or the like, I'd suggest the 600 or better.

I had no issue installing this on my Hon...
I had no issue installing this on my Honda CM450 and have already taken a few trips without any unusual noise being present.

Perfect replacement for my GE water heater
I made this purchase some weeks ago to fix my water heater that kept having its upper thermostat trip. After replacing my lower thermostat with this replacement, I've had trouble-free hot water ever since. Installation was easy as well being that it fit directly where the old thermostat was without any modifications needed. In fact, this replacement unit even came with a new plastic shield to protect you from inadvertently touching the terminals when making temperature adjustments (something that was missing from the old thermostat).
