Canon EF-S 17-55mm F/2.8 IS USM Lens

This is a great all-around lens.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. If you want to upgrade to something better than the stock lens, this is a great buy. Its pricey, because it's a 2.8, and while not an "L" Series lens, it still offers superb image quality within the standard focal length. I use it for long trips and generally for everything else, especially in the winter months when the lighting gets less than ideal. The motor is fast for focusing, and it seldom has any focus errors (i.e. focusing on the wrong point). I do believe it works better with the T6i than the T5, but its so much more responsive, than the kit lens. And it's got the lower focal length that the 28-135 doesn't, so you don't have to back up when your in too close. Amazingly enough this one is nearly similar to the 16-35mm IS II. I've owned both, and I kept this one, as paying 1300 for the same focal length with just a slightly faster focusing, doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, as their both 2.8's. Your really not going to be disappointed with this lens, over the 16-35mm costing 2.5x times as much.

A must do.
For the money, this is a worthwhile little addition that is often overlooked until it's too late. I just bought the T6i, and want to ensure that the back screen doesn't get as scratched up as some of my other equipment, which is often scratched not by carelessness, but by my glasses while looking in the viewfinder, or by a piece of sand or whatever that may find itself in your computer bag.
The product is applied easily (the shipping container is a keeper), and this product, for whatever reason does not prevent the touch screen from working. I've had it on there now 30 days, and it looks good still, and has no issues. My camera's screen folds back in place at the back of the camera, and you do notice a slight raised surface when it's folded back in place to prevent my face from activating any of the camera features.
I'd go so far as to recommend getting one of these for the T5 as well. I own a Canon T5, and use it extensively (in one year I've done 12,000 pics, yeah its that's good). I'm getting a 2nd one of these to put on that camera, to protect the screen, as I've noticed when storing the camera, the screen scrapes along the bag, and should have some protection, so that over time it doesn't look like so many IPhones I see, that are almost junk after 1 year.

A Great Camera Strap at a Black Friday price.
This is a really nice strap to get for your camera. Its what's deemed "old school". My Canon T5 strap was rather "gross" due to heavy and prolonged summer use over the past 2 years. So I naturally wanted a "Canon-type" of strap, and was looking for one that said EOS T5, but I happened upon this one, and its rather good looking, comfortable, easy to install once you figure it out, and I probably will get a couple more as I like the style. I've seen the "free" one that comes with the kit, for $10+ on here, so its a good value as well. I like the little camera pin on it as well as a nice added touch.
